Oversee the creative process from concept to execution for launch and existing brands, guiding web and graphic designers and show teams on how to create brand visuals that resonate with our audience, grab attention, are adaptable to all formats and have longevity.
Lead and inspire the in-house design team creating a culture of originality, innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure all creative outputs meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time and on brand. This includes overseeing the editing, proofing and final approval processes.
Strong ability to prioritize work and resources based on short- and long-term need. Timelines, budgets and availabilities change - we need someone who can manage this effectively.
Whether it’s the internal design team or external agencies, ensure they create clear brand guidelines and style guides for brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Lead the end-to-end website design process, including creation of wireframes, prototypes, animations and page layouts in line with UX/UI best practices. Coordinating the hand-over with agencies and internal teams for development, pre-launch checks, domain to server mapping, hosting and infrastructure maintenance.
Ensure web designers train marketing teams on CMS and module usage for content updates.
Manage website-related maintenance requests, including module layout changes, marketing tool integrations e.g. pop-ups, and tracking, together with the Digital Ops Manager and other central services.
Work with the video editors to produce impactful short videos largely for paid media purposes using the right editing and production tools and techniques.
Work with design and marketing team to create a series of accessible templates across different formats e.g. social media and website landing page templates
Act as a key contact for design ideas and concepts internally or externally providing constructive, specific and intelligible feedback.
Facilitate collaboration between the different departments e.g. technology, data, digital operations etc. to guarantee the consistent, timely and successful execution of creative solutions.
Put together budget conscious solutions and processes for project management, workflow and communication to improve quality and efficiency of design deliverables.
Keep up to date with new technologies, methodologies and design trends.
Hire and develop staff.
Technical skills
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in this senior position
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for visual design. Figma highly desirable.
Expertise in typography and layout for print and digital media.
Knowledge of web design, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for guiding web projects.
Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing skills for dynamic digital content.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles for product design.
Understanding of print production and prepress processes.
Ability to develop brand visual identities and maintain brand consistency.
Proficient in project management tools for organizing creative projects.
